The Propex HS2000 heater is an automatic thermostatically controlled blown air heating system fuelled by propane/ butane gas. Heatsource is designed for a variety of automotive and marine applications as a source of heat totally independent of the engine.

Q: I have an old Carver P4 air heater do you do a replacement?
A: Yes, the HS2000, HS2211or the HS2800.

Q: Can the heater be mounted vertically?
A: The heater must not be mounted vertically on its nose or end or upside down but on one of its sides is not a problem. Remember when mounting the unit you should ensure you can still maintain access to the electronics cover and gas connections

Q: Where can the heater be fitted?
A: Most installations are mounted in a bedbox or locker. External installation is not recommended unless using the appropriate mounting box. However the HS2211 is designed to be fitted externally.

Q: Can the heaters be used while vehicles are moving?
A: Yes, a vehicle in motion flue terminal is available and the heater should be installed and operated in compliance with the relevant regulatory requirements. Use of the the correct VIM bracket ensure compliance with the vehicle in motion test regime.

Q: What length of exhaust flue pipe can be fitted?
A: Total combined length must not exceed 4 meters and the inlet pipe should be slightly longer than the exhaust to balance the burner.

Q: How many outlets can you put on the Heatsource HS2000, HS2000E and HS2211?
A: The maximum recommended is 3, providing the total combined length of ducting is no longer than 5 metres and the maximum length to the first outlet should not exceed 1.5m.

Q: What is the electrical consumption?
A: 1.6amps on 12v

Q: How much do they cost?
A: From as little as £496 for a Heatsource 2000 complete with a single outlet vehicle fitting kit and thermostat.

Q: What is your return policy?

A: All products must be in new, in unused, un-opened condition and in the original packaging, to quality for a return. Any returns need authorization, prior to return, and the customer is responsible for ALL shipping charges.

All orders that are Authorized for a return must be received back at Propex Canada original shipping address no later than  30 days from being originally shipped to the customer. Once the item has been received, it will be thoroughly inspected and may qualify for a refund with a 30% restocking fee, back to the original form of payment.
